Team Dees Cross Country Festival

       Another Team Dees event to raise money for former Hope Mills mayor
     and veteran softball coach Eddie Dees in his battle with pancreatic cancer
                is scheduled Saturday, May 7, at South View High School.

The Team Dees 5K Cross Country Festival is scheduled from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Registration will begin at 2 p.m.

The course is a 3.1 mile cross country course, run over grass, wooded trails and some asphalt.

The entry fee is $40 for adults and $20 for students and includes a T-shirt. If you register the day of the race the fee is $50 and T-shirts will be provided as long as they are available.

There will be other fund-raising activities after the race, including food and a silent auction.

To register in advance, make checks to the Eddie Dees Foundation. Mail check and entry form to Team Dees 5K, 2905 Spring Moss Lane, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
